In this study, effect of climate changes through season of birth on performance of mountainrngoat (Taggar goats) was evaluated. Forty seven (47) mature Taggar goats were used in thisrnexperiment. Animals were allocated into two groups according to the season of birth, rainyrnseason and dry season. The results indicated that rainy season kidders secured higher litterrnsize (1.45) compared with dry season kidders (1.18). In addition, kidding rate was higher inrnrainy season kidders (100%) compared with dry season kidders (94.4%). Body weight wasrnalso higher at kidding and weaning time for rainy season kidders compared with dry seasonrnkidders. The kidding interval and service period for the rainy kidder was shorter comparedrnwith dry kidders.
